Heartfelt Poetry to Comfort, Inspire, and Touch Hearts
Written to comfort the grieving, uplift the weary, celebrate love, and family, honor country, and strengthen Christian faith.
Meet Ron Tranmer
I was born in Jerome, Idaho in 1940, the oldest of seven children, and have been “married to an angel” for 64 years. Together we’ve raised four children, welcomed thirteen grandchildren, and now enjoy many great-grandchildren.
My love for poetry began at age eight, when a poem for the prettiest girl in my class earned a smile and sparked a lifelong passion. Since then, I’ve written and copyrighted more than 400 poems inspired by love, loss, faith, family, and life’s defining moments. Some of my work has been licensed and appears on plaques, keepsakes, and memorials, and I’ve published three books of poetry, with a fourth in progress.
Through rhyme, I hope to remind readers of the enduring importance of God, family, friendship, country, compassion, humor, and love. My poems may be shared for personal, non-profit use with proper credit; commercial use requires permission. Above all, I’m grateful when my words bring comfort, reflection, or hope to others.

Thank You For Your Service
To all who’ve served our country,
both in peace and time of war,
Thank you for your service to our land.
You answered freedom’s call
and are heroes to us all
An honor it would be to shake your hand.
And to those who gave their lives,
we never will forget
the awful price for us you had to pay.
Words cannot suffice your valiant sacrifice
but with tears of gratitude, may we say:
“Thank You For Your Service”
