I’m as proud to call you “mother”

as the mom who gave me birth.

And treasure what you’ve given

more than anything on earth.

You have raised a precious child.

One I cherish and adore.

One who has my heart 

and all my love forevermore.

I’m thankful to have found

love so pure and true.

And for a second mother

as wonderful as you.
