My Son

I get down on my knees in prayer,

each night when day is done.

And thank the Lord for blessing me

with such an awesome son.

I ask Him to watch over you.

To keep you well and strong.

And help you make a difference

in this world of right and wrong.

I love you. You make me proud.

Son’s like you are few.

I wish all parents in the world

could have a son like you.
