Grandma Died

Heavenly Father took Grandma

Up to heaven when she died.

When my momma told me

I ran to my room and cried.

I ask Heavenly Father

Why my grandma had to die.

I fell asleep, and had a dream

Where grandpa told me why:

“Grandchild, I know how you miss

Your grandma’s tender touch.

I know how much you loved her,

And she loves you very much.

But I missed her too, sweet child

So Heavenly Father brought her here.

If you could see our happiness

You wouldn’t shed one tear.”

When I awoke from dreaming

The wonderful dream I had,

About grandma being with grandpa

I didn’t feel so bad.

Tears Are Falling

Tears are falling from the eyesthat long to see your face.Arms that used to hug you tightnow miss your sweet embrace.Lips long to tell you words of love, and kiss you just once more.Feet would like to run towhere you are past heaven’s door.Hearts left behind are...

Tears of Joy

Now I lay me down to sleep. Those who loved me mourn and weep. Time on earth has come and gone. Yet in spirit I live on. I awaken and behold Heaven with its streets of gold. Such beauty, peace and love I see. Shed but tears of joy for me.

Somewhere

Somewhere, in another place beyond this atmosphere; Someone’s waiting for me. ...Someone very dear. A place where peace and beauty are well beyond compare. A place where love will live again. Somehow, Sometime, Somewhere.
