Woulda’ Coulda’ Shoulda’

I woulda’ followed the Savior
but was too wrapped up in me.
I coulda’ chosen right from wrong
but was just too blind to see.

I shoulda’ been much stronger,
and spiritually more brave,
but coulda’, woulda’, and shoulda’
went with me to my grave.

How I wish these three words,
“willing, can, and did”,
were words that I had carried
throughout my life instead.
