Life brings trials and challenges
and when they come along,
they’ll either get the best of us,
or help to make us strong.
They tell us what we’re made of.
Be it Jello, glue or steel.
And define us by our actions.
Do we run, fight or kneel?
To learn and grow while on the earth
is why God put us here.
Face each trial, with courage and a smile
instead of grief and fear.
