Heaven’s Best

I gazed down from the heavens

at my children on the earth;

And there you were, the perfect

one to give this child birth.

Someone, who with unmatched faith,

would always trust in Me.

And someone who’d be strong

when I needed them to be.

The child was born, and what great joy

he brought to you that day.

I knew your heart would break

when you learned he could not stay.

Your little child was much too pure,

and perfect to remain;

Your time with him was short

but he’ll in time, be yours again.

Feel my arms around you,

and know that you were blessed.

for I chose you as mother

for one of heaven’s best
