My Twinkling Star

I like to think the glow at night

from stars high up above,

is the light of heavenly beings

shining down on those they love.

I pretend you are the biggest

and brightest star I see.

And your twinkle is a wink,

meant especially for me

I’m thinking as you’re twinkling

and shining there so bright,

you’re saying that you love me

   and telling me goodnight.”

When I am sad from missing you

I know you’re never far.

I look up toward the heavens

and find you…my twinkling star.

Tears of Joy

Somewhere

Somewhere, in another place beyond this atmosphere; Someone’s waiting for me. ...Someone very dear. A place where peace and beauty are well beyond compare. A place where love will live again. Somehow, Sometime, Somewhere.
