The Bravest Ever Known

America . . .this  is a  day  we  honor  our  dear  brave.

By placing a wreath, near the headstone of each grave.

Thousands  upon  thousands, for heroes who have died.

Many are the tears of their loved ones who have cried.

 .

What stories could be told  by the families  of each one.

Loving memories of a  brother. . sister. . daughter. . son.

Courageous  men and  women. The  bravest ever known.

Their  lives freely  given for this country they call  home.

We keep them in our hearts. Their families in our prayers.

For we know that the sacrifices made are also theirs.

Freedom is not free this world, to our regret.

And the only way we can repay,  is . .

NEVER. . .EVER. . .FORGET!
