There has never been a time
when I have quit or ran away
from a challenge or a battle,
and I won’t begin today.
With dignity and courage
I will face this enemy;
And God be willing, beat
the cancer that’s inside of me.
But if my God is calling me
I’ll bid this world adieu;
Then live in joy with family there
and wait for each of you.
The good Lord knows what’s best
and I will put my trust in Him.
Either way… go or stay,
this cancer will not win.;
Cancer is a scary word and no one likes to hear it. It's a shame that a name can make so many fear it. Maybe we should change the name to something more exquisite. How about Beezlewink? That's not so scary...Is it?
