when it came my time for birth,
that I could have my pick
of any dad upon the earth.
I must have looked around
at every father I could see.
I’ll bet He smiled when I said
you were the dad for me.
How richly I am blessed
to have a dad like you.
Your love and great example
guides my life in all I do.
Whether it was I who chose you,
Or God who made the call;
In my heart, I know I have
the greatest dad of all!
The dishes are stacked high in the sink. The dishwasher’s loaded clear up to the brink. Her vacuum sits idle. Crumbs lie on the floor. What’s so important these tasks she’d ignore? Can she not see her kitchen’s a mess? It almost seems though she couldn’t care less....
