Fetch

You were a loyal, loving pet,

and you were my best friend.

A buddy and companion.

who was faithful to the end.

Then an angel called your name

and threw a golden ball.

You ran through clouds to fetch it

and answered heaven’s call.

I miss our walks together

and the fun times we would play.

You’ll be in my heart forever

and I’ll think of you each day.

You’re waiting in pet heaven

for my call to come and then..

When I do, I’ll come fetch you

and we’ll be pals again.

Best Friends Again

There’s a beautiful place in Heaven for dear pets who pass away. It's there they wait in happiness for their very special day.   When God's angels call my name one pets wait will end, as we run to greet each other and become best friends again..

My sister bought your poem “Fetch” for me when our dog went to heaven. I would like to purchase a copy or have permission to copy poem for my daughter’s mother in law, who said goodbye to her Labrador yesterday. Please let me know how to purchase or get a copy. Thanks
