Dictionary’s list the words
we speak from a to z.
The greatest of them all
can be narrowed down to three.
They do not speak of money,
or things that bring us wealth.
They don’t come from a doctor,
announcing our good health.
One may think, “I Love You”
are the words I’m speaking of.
These three words come close,
because they also speak of love.
Three beautiful, simple words.
Music to my ears.
Words of joy and comfort
that take away my fears.
Of every combination
of words, heard or read;
“He Is Risen”, are by far
the greatest ever said!
